guided therapy for emotional wellness
About Troy

I’m a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist with a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. I’ve spent over 30 years supporting children, youth, adults, and families through some of life’s most complex and challenging experiences, drawing upon my experience in child welfare and Sick Kids hospital.
My practice is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. Whether you're navigating anxiety, OCD, grief, parenting struggles, identity exploration, or relationship issues, I provide a space where your story is heard, and your strengths are honoured.

I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and narrative therapy, tailoring each session to your unique goals and needs. I also have training in family mediation, and I work with parents and co-parents to improve communication and build healthier dynamics for everyone involved.

As a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, I’m committed to affirming, inclusive care. I bring lived experience, cultural humility, and an anti-oppressive lens to my work with individuals of all identities, backgrounds, and family structures.

Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I’ll support you in making meaningful changes, gaining clarity, and reconnecting with yourself in deeper ways. Whether you’re in crisis or simply feeling stuck, we can work together to move toward healing and growth.
